An exhaust leak is more than a noise problem. Exhaust gases contain carbon monoxide, and a leak close to the passenger cabin is a safety concern. Leaks also affect engine performance and back pressure. Common leak locations include the exhaust manifold, the flex pipe on front-wheel-drive vehicles, mid-pipe connections, and joints that have corroded through over time. We inspect the full system on the lift and repair what is actually leaking.
A failed muffler is loud, plain and simple. Mufflers corrode from the inside out because condensation accumulates inside the shell. If your vehicle sounds significantly louder than it did six months ago, the muffler is likely the culprit. We can replace it with a direct-fit unit or, if you want a different sound or a better-flowing design, install something appropriate for your vehicle and your preference.
Not every exhaust job is a simple part swap. If you have a truck, a performance application, or a vehicle with an unusual configuration where off-the-shelf parts do not fit properly, we can fabricate a section that fits correctly and is installed cleanly rather than cobbled together with a chain of adapters and clamps.
